Delighted to join the community of Cluster Craft artists, Carragh will be on show with the team during the London Craft Week.

A massive thank you to Marlies Augustijn and the team for not only including my work within issue 20/2 but making my Torsion series the cover. The article highlights the Associate Artist programme at North Lands Creative and delves into my collaborative work with Alberto Lago as well as the works and inspirations of our own practices.

Incredibly excited to visit Norway and experience the culture, landscape and studio at S12.

I will be showing three series or work at Collect 2020 represented by North Lands Creative. Origin my latest series of works created in collaboration with Alberto Lago comes as a result of my inclusion in the Associate Artist programme. New works from my existing Torsion and Carragh series will also be on show… see you there.

Featuring our brand new Origin series, created alongside Alberto Lago. This new collaborative work will be debuted at Collect 2020, London next month.

My newest series of work Carragh will be debuted at the Ireland Glass Biennale in Dublin. Huge thanks to all the judges for selecting the work to be shown, these pieces are created using a combination of glassblowing, kilnforming and coldworking techniques so its rewarding to get the good news that the hard work has paid off!

Incredibly excited to be showing work alongside brilliant artists, this is the first time I will be showing as a professional artist and not a student so I’m pretty much well chuffed!

It’s an incredible line up for North Lands Creative’s 2019 Glass Nexus Forum and I cannot wait to be involved… see you there!

In June this year I’m taking a class with Boyd and Lisa to focus on refining and evolving my glassblowing technique and knowledge. It’s such an amazing opportunity for me and I’m incredibly excited to return to corning this summer.

James Maskrey will be teaching at Bild-Werk Frauenau this June. I’m very excited to be joining him as his teaching assistant for the week long course in the beautiful Bavarian Forest in South Eastern Germany, for more information on the course head over to their website, its a great place with lovely people and an incredibly creative vibe… Oh and they have a beer vending machine, what more could you want!

From April through to September this year I will be showing alongside some incredible artists that have all been involved in the glass scene in Sunderland. Feeling very privileged to be associated with this cause and represented with some absolute pioneers of the glass world. Happy Birthday to the National Glass Centre and if you are anywhere nearby it’s definitely worth a look as its going to be a cracking exhibition showing the past, present and future of contemporary glass.

‘We will celebrate our anniversary with an exhibition featuring work by artists who have helped to establish Sunderland as an international centre of excellence for Studio Glass, in the years both before and after the launch of National Glass Centre.’

Cannot wait to be involved in the project Glass Tech-Hack this December. Glass Tech-Hack is an innovation project in collaboration with The Glass Factory, Boda glasbruk, Sweden and other collaborative partners. It runs from 2018 - 2020 and arranges events or live streaming directly from the researchers office or laboratory to the studios of The Glass Factory. Thank you to Matt Durran, The Glass Factory, Louis Thompson and everyone who has made this happen.

This August I will be undertaking the first part of a month long residency at North Lands Creative, working through the remainder of the time in November. I’m very much looking forward to having the opportunity to explore and experiment with new ideas and avenues within my practice as well as being at North Lands for their Glass Nexus Forum 4th - 5th August 2018. Hopefully new work will be on the horizon soon… here goes nothing!

Gifted Glass An exhibition featuring nine artists at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland. Exhibition in conjunction with the Contemporary Glass Society. Showing in the Long Gallery 21 October – 11 March 2018.

Very, very excited to share the news that the National Glass Centre have acquired two works for their collection. Feeling over the moon! The university of Sunderland and the National Glass Centre are places very close to my heart having both studied and worked there so its very special that they have chosen to select two Torsion pieces from the recent Gifted Glass exhibition.

In August I’m heading over to Czechia to take part in a class taught by British glassmakers Louis Thompson and James Devereux. Very much looking forward to what a week of analysing and reflecting on my inspiration and practice leads too.

July 6th - August 19th 2017 saw Vessels at Vessel Gallery, London. A group exhibition of glass works by members of the Contemporary Glass Society. With over 120 entries, I was so excited to be selected as Best in Show. A really lovely article written in CGS’s Glass Network by Katharine Colman summarised the exhibition and I even made my first ever cover! Thank you CGS & Vessel Gallery.

During August 2016 I will be making the Commemorative Collection whilst on a residency at North Lands Creative Glass, Scotland for their 20 year anniversary. Find out more about the commemorative works from all 8 residents and information on the annual conference at http://www.northlandsglass.com

So very pleased to have been selected for the British Glass Biennale within the student section. The Puffin Postcard and Idiosyncrasies work will be on display from 28th May - 28th June in Stourbridge.

The Puffin Postcard is on display at Parndon Mill gallery in Harlow. Showing as a part of the Glasshaus IX exhibition from 18th September - 2nd November 2014.

During Part 1 of New Designers 2014 I will be exhibiting a selection of my work. Come down to London between 25th-28th June to see what myself and my fellow classmates have made for our final graduate work.

My final degree show and the end to all current education... Pheww! I will be showing my latest work 'The Puffin Postcard', so please drop by the NGC between 7th-15th June to take a look
